Tiverton 1st is a grassroots community organization open to all who support preserving our quality of life in Tiverton by maintaining both our community and school services in a fiscally-responsible way, and promoting cooperation, compromise and community pride.
Membership is open to all Tiverton residents who are at least 18 years old & support Tiverton 1st's principles & goals (non-residents or those under 18 years old are welcome to join as non-voting members). STATE MAY STEP IN TO FUND ALL DAY KINDERGARTEN

 Amazing that some people don't see the connection between supporting an alternative budget that cut funds intended to fund ADK and the delay of that program when that budget with those cuts was approved by the 20% of voters who voted in the FTR budget vote on May 16. To be clear, the School Committee and those of us who support our public education have long made All Day Kindergarten a priority. It's those who push budget schemes that cut the funding and then manipulate anxious parents with misinformation about magical piles of money who should be made to answer for their actions.
